Tools/ATLAS

ATLAS helps founders (and anyone building) understand the world as it currently is, and where it is heading, in order to identify inefficiencies, demand shifts, and startup opportunities.

Instead of equity prices and earnings, ATLAS focuses on the underlying layers that drive markets: people and cities, macro conditions, technological capacity, and institutional quality. Move between layers with a shared country context and look for useful intersections.

Data & methodology

Primary source: World Bank Indicators API (api.worldbank.org/v2). Public data, no equity quotes or company fundamentals.

Caching: Responses are edge-cached for 24 hours. Most series update monthly or annually — ATLAS is built for structural reading, not tick-level refresh.

Coverage: Indicator availability varies by country and year. Sparse series (especially governance and inequality) are shown honestly rather than interpolated.

Future releases may add UN Population, IMF WEO, and other public sources behind the same normalized data layer.
